Rose Medical Center’s Prenatal Plus Medicaid Program offers expecting women additional support and so much more.

Prenatal Plus aims to improve birth outcomes by reducing the prevalence of low birth weight infants among Medicaid-eligible women in Colorado. A low birth weight infant weighs less than 5 pounds, 8 ounces or 2500 grams.

The Prenatal Plus* Team Includes:

  • A “case manager” who can give you referrals in the community for financial help, parenting classes, medical benefits, and housing information.
  • A Registered Dietician who will help you with weight gain goals and diet during your pregnancy.
  • A counselor who can talk to you about any personal issues you may have.

Many of our clients have told us that the Prenatal Plus Program helped them have a healthier pregnancy.

Prenatal Plus is a program of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
